Basic Indirect Fire and Gunnery

Our specialized training program offers a basic introduction into utilizing the 60MM Mortar, led by our seasoned instructors with extensive military experience. Through practical exercises and instruction, participants will develop an understanding of indirect fire operations, including, the parts of the mortar, emplacing and displacing the mortar, mortar ammunition, laying for direct and indirect fire, aiming, loading and firing, misfire drills, and conducting fire missions and adjustments. Join our immersive 60MM mortar class to develop your skills effectively handling the 60MM Mortar. This is a one day course that begins with classroom instruction. After the classroom it moves to the live fire range and each student conducts live fire missions. 

•      18 years old.
•      16 years old accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
•       Valid ID or drivers’ license.
•       US Citizen, with proof of citizenship.
•       Not prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition. 
•       Must be able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds for short distances at a walking pace over uneven terrain.
